Alison Doody

Alison Doody is an Irish actress and model. She was born on 11th November, 1966. Alison Doody first made a film debut as an actress and Bond model with the film A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she starred as a character in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody portrayed Nazi sympathetic archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan donavan was part of A Prayer for the Dying in 1987, Charlotte appeared in Taffin (in the year 1988) and Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody began modelling after being offered by an experienced photographer. The result was a successful professional career as a model for commercials. Doody stringently avoided glamour and nude work a clause which allowed her to pursue an acting profession. After being spotted by of the director who cast the upcoming James Bond film she accepted the role of Jenny Flex in 1985's A View to a Kill. Doody made an appearance on John Willis Screen World Volume 2, as one 12 promising young actors for the year 1986. 38. She starred alongside Pierce Brosnan, in the 1988 film Taffin. She then took on her greatest role in the film Taffin as Austrian Archaeologist and Nazisympathiser The doctor. Doody played co-starring in 1991 with Jonathan Pryce opposite the British miniseries Selling Hitler, which was in the spirit of a publication scam known as The Hitler Diaries. She then moved to Hollywood. She took over Cybill Shepherd as the L'Oreal spokesperson's character. Then she played Flannery Sheen's wife and agent, opposite Charlie Sheen, as Major League II came out in 1994. Doody returned to acting in 2003 when she played a minuscule performance as a character in her role in the British comedy The Actors, in which Michael Caine played herself at the awards ceremony. The year 2004, she was in the film in a scene with Patrick Swayze alongside a TV version of King Solomon's Mines. Also Doody appeared on Benjamin's Struggle (2005), an essay on the Holocaust. Doody was part of Danny Dyer's The Rapture (2009). In the following year, she was a guest in the RTE Medical thriller The Clinic. She was supposed to play the lead role in an adaptation in 2011 of the horror movie The Asphyx. However, the project was ultimately canceled. Pam Jefferson is her role in the E4 Comedy Drama Beaver Falls' first of two seasons. In 2014, she was a part of We Still Kill the Old Way. In November, she won the Almeria award for best film and was awarded a Star on the Almeria Walk of Fame.
