Alison Doody

Alison Doody is an Irish actress and model. She was born on 11th November, 1966. Alison Doody first made a film debut as an actress and Bond model with the film A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she starred as a character in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody portrayed Nazi sympathetic archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan donavan was part of A Prayer for the Dying in 1987, Charlotte appeared in Taffin (in the year 1988) and Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody began modelling after being offered by an experienced photographer. The result was a successful professional career as a model for commercials. Doody stringently avoided glamour and nude work a clause which allowed her to pursue an acting profession. After being spotted by of the director who cast the upcoming James Bond film she accepted the role of Jenny Flex in 1985's A View to a Kill. She was supposed to play the lead role in an adaptation in 2011 of the horror movie The Asphyx. However, the project was ultimately canceled. Pam Jefferson is her role in the E4 Comedy Drama Beaver Falls' first of two seasons. In 2014, she was a part of We Still Kill the Old Way. In November, she won the Almeria award for best film and was awarded a Star on the Almeria Walk of Fame.
